6:01 AM – HOW SAY YOU?
We have a “brief musical interlude” as Adam sings along to Gary Puckett’s, “Young Girl” and “This Girl is A Woman Now”.
Listener, Raphael calls in and asks Adam how he originally got into teaching boxing. Here’s the story, Adam played ten years of football and at a certain point he says his body wore out and he couldn’t play anymore, he therefore took up boxing, it was cheap, he could borrow someone else’s headgear, and he always had a love for boxing. Adam admits he wasn’t that good at it, that’s when he decided to get into construction. Adam built a man a boxing ring and realized he missed boxing himself, then the guy actually offered Adam a teaching position at the ring and that is how he became a boxing instructor!!
6:24 AM – JON CRYER CALLS IN
Jon Cryer, one of the nicest guy’s in show business calls into the studio. Jon is married to a colleague of Teresa’s at TV Guide; Lisa Joyner who Teresa says is so lovely and nice.
Adam says Jon has had somewhat of a career renaissance. Jon was in the hugely successful movie Pretty in Pink, which came out back in the eighties. Jon tells us there actually was an alternative ending in the movie where his character ending up with Molly Ringwalds character, however Molly did not think it was a realistic ending, their characters were destined to only be friends.
After years of laying low Jon now stars in the television show, Two and a Half Men which also stars Charlie Sheen, who Jon says is very easy to work with and a really nice guy, now that he’s clean and sober! Adam says it seems as though Charlie has mellowed as he’s gotten older and now producing less testosterone, Jon concurs.
Jon has a new movie coming out on DVD this Tuesday, “Went to Cooney Island on a Mission from God, Be Back by 5”. You can also catch Jon on his hit television Show, Two and a half Men which airs on CBS.
6:47 AM – DR. BRADY BARR CALLS IN
Dr. Brady Barr, from the National Geographic Channel calls into the studio this morning. Dr. Barr is known for his close encounters with wild life. Some months back Dr. Barr called in and shared his history about being bitten by a monster python, you remember the story, right? Now Dr. Barr shares his most recent encounter with the most dangerous animal in the wild, the Hippopotamus. Dr. Barr actually had a costume made of a hippo so he could get up close enough to the other hippos to collect samples of their sweat, which has sun block agents that are needed for scientific studies. In order to get close enough, Dr. Barr covered his costume with hippo dung!! Surprisingly, he was not killed and was able to get close enough to actually touch these wild beasts!

The hysterical Lisa Lampanelli, the queen of mean calls into the studio. Due to her zaftig weight Lisa is notorious for only sleeping with black men, however Lisa has recently lost over 20 pounds and now looks forward to sleeping with white and Mexican dudes!
Lisa Lampanelli’s CD, “Dirty Girl,” has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of “Best Comedy Album.” We pray with her that the Grammys will actually occur!!

7:55 AM – ADAM SHARES A PAST DRUNK EXPERIENCE
Adam shares a story about how he grew up across the street from Molly Ringwald. When Molly became a big star Adam was actually invited to attend the Pretty in Pink premier. “It was a beautiful night” he partied at The Palace afterward, where he “got his party on”. There was free booze, how could he resist, he had “14 greyhounds and was lit up like a Christmas tree!” Adam staggered out of the club; it was now raining so hard, “it seemed to be shot out of the sky.”
Adam went to his car and there was a cop car parked right next to his car! He stood there “frozen in his tracks”, what to do? Well, Adam climbed into his car and just sat there not knowing if he should try to drive away or not. Finally Adam “got up the huevos” and drove home where he then spent the rest of the evening throwing up!!

ESPN’s Sports Guy’s World, Bill Simmons is still in the studio. Adam and Bill talk about the movie, Karate Kid Two. The first movie was soo much better than the sequel! Adam and Teresa wrap up their American Idol talk as Bill continues to hang in the studio.
As Bill and Adam talk about the movie The Karate Kid, guess who calls into the studio?
Randee Heller who played Ralph Macchio’s mom, Lucille Larusso, that’s who!! Adam asks Randee why she was not in Karate Kid Two, Randy says she was pregnant, that’s why.

Bill continues to hang in the studio as Adam talks about the “gayest film of the eighties”, Beastmaster.
Adam and Bill now talk about the movie, Karate Kid Three. Clips are played from Karate Kid Three, as Adam endlessly discusses the movie.
Adams wife, Lynnette calls in! Lynette says, “it’s enough…come on!!” Lynnette can not believe Adam will not stop talking about this movie!!
